REVIEW:                  THIS IS THE POLICE

This is the police is a strategy-based adventure video game developed by Weappy Studio and it was published by EuroVideo Medien, It was released on August 2, 2016 for Microsoft, OS and Linux. You control the protagonist Jack Boyd (Jon St Jon: Who is one of the best voice actors i’ve ever heard),who is being forced into early retirement by the corrupt mayor, the game takes place during his final one hundred and eighty days on the force.                                                                     It is a real-time management video game but the in-game countdown timer for the day progression doesn’t count in real time as it speeds up to about (0.69 seconds per RT seconds) but the mission pop-up icon timer countdown is in real time.      Jack Boyd, a police chief in the game's location of Freeburg set to retire in one hundred and eighty days.

 The gameplay is presented on a bird’s eye view map (Like a 3d mini-map of the city). He wants to make 500,000 dollars in his final six months on the force, through various ways which he either chooses utilizing the local mafia. The mafia may ask the Jack to turn a blind eye towards some of the crimes and be compensated with money or not get killed instead. Jack receives calls and is tasked to prioritize certain ones while dealing with the members of your staff. Depending on how serious the incident happening is, the amount of police sent which can range from 2 – 10 per mission. As you go further into the game SWAT Teams and reinforcements are unlocked for use. You must use strategy to decide how many officers will be sent to each crime, because if there are no spare officers, some crimes can't be stopped. Failure to stop crimes results in the player's squad and pay being reduced. Source: Wikipedia.

10 REASONS WHY I LIKE THIS GAME

 1.  It has a very interesting story.

 2.   Cool voice actor.

 3.   Makes me wonder if stuff like that really happens.

 4.   Love Jack Boyd’s sarcasm.

 5.   Really portrays how a corrupt city is being run.

 6.   The overview main map is awesome.

 7.   It adapts to behaviors and choices Jack Boyd makes. 

 8.   Jack Boyd’s don’t give a s&*t attitude.

 9.   You can skip the intro or conversations easily.

 10.   Can be played on a low spec Pc.

10 REASONS WHY I HATE THIS GAME

 1.    It has a lot of racial, sexist and homophobic comments.

 2.   It has a lot of negativism towards black people as most of missions details mostly say stuff like.

a.   “suspicious black person”

b.   “a group of armed  black people” e.t.c

 3.   I lost track of Jack’s main objective.

 4.   It crashes if it is left on for too long.

 5.   For most people the downloaded version hangs on the newspaper screen for an hour.

 6.   Mouse sensitivity is sometimes sluggish.

 7.    Occasional Glitch in the intro scene which cause the narration to repeat its sentences.

 8.   Weird speedup when connection to internet is available

 9.   It turned on my webcam twice during installation.

 10. It gets boring quickly.
